Hello Sioux Empire Travelers! I wanted to start a blog to share a little about myself and talk about all things travel! Whether it be stories from my own experiences, updates about travel requirements, new resorts, or fun places to see, this will be a fun little read for you if you enjoy travel.
First of all, we had a wonderful weekend at Sioux Falls Riverfest! It was so great meeting everyone and having great conversations about travel! It was a beautiful day, and we had so much fun giving out leis, sunglasses, koozies, and travel information.

We also have a little news to share and celebrate! Sioux Empire Travel was honored with a 2022 Monarch Agency Award at Travel Quest World! This award is given out annually to the agencies of excellence throughout the United States. What a great honor it is to have one right here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota!
Travel Tip of the Week
Flying with checked luggage? Always carry an extra change of clothes in your carryon or personal item. You never know when your luggage is going to end up in another city, and it’s not fun to start your vacation wearing the same clothes you just wore through a day of travel! (Make sure you include undies too!) If you’re going somewhere tropical, throw a swimsuit in as well so you aren’t missing out on all the fun your first day!
